A 4-Week Unit on Resolving Conflict with Family and Friends
(Part of our Crossroads 7th-12th Grade Curriculum)
Suggested Calendar: September 6-27
No matter how happy and healthy your relationships are with your family and friends, conflict is a matter of life. The Bible has a lot to say on how we resolve those conflicts when they happen. This month we will explore some of the most important relationships in a teen’s life: their parents, their siblings, those put in authority over them, and close friends. We will analyze some Biblical examples, such as Jesus and His Mother, the Holy Theotokos, Jacob and Esau, and Martha and Mary, to see what the Bible has to say on keeping the peace in these important relationships.
“If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.” Romans 12:18.
