A 4-Week Unit on the Problem with Judging
(Part of our Crossroads 7th-12th Grade Curriculum)

We know the old saying, "never judge a book by its cover," but too often we do this with others. We cast judgment based on his or her worst mistake, and sometimes, we judge ourselves equally as harsh- or maybe even harsher.
Jesus is where mercy and justice meet and it is that place in which we hope to guide our teens to this month.
Whether it is judging others or judging themselves, it is an important lesson to remember we are all in need of God's grace.
"I knew that you are a gracious and compassionate God, slow to anger and abounding in love, a God who relents from sending calamity." (Jonah 4:2)
