A 5 Week series on Building an Orthodox Prayer Life
(Part of our Crossroads 7th-12th Grade Curriculum)
Suggested Calendar: August 3-31
In the first part of the summer, we focused on hearing that still, small voice among the noise. Recognizing God in our lives through prayer builds intimacy, builds relationship. In our part 2 summer of prayer, we hope to help our teens use the tools of our Orthodox Church to diligently build their House of Prayer, their own prayer rule.
Each week we will explore and build a new “room” until we eventually reach that dining room where we will dine with God and He with us in Liturgical prayer. As we make our way there, we hope our teens conclude the summer recognizing God’s voice and align to His ways and His will.
“For my house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.” Isaiah 56:7b
