It’s not an unusual story, just an unusual response. When my kids were little, they struggled with attending Sunday school – they would say, “Sunday school is boring.” In reality, I believed they were tired and hungry from the Liturgy and their little attention spans could only handle so much.

When I sat in on their class, I saw the overcrowding, overwhelmed teachers, and a lack of real plan / tools to help the volunteers with the kids.

Something inside of me knew I could help. I did not want to just pull my kids out or complain. Call it the Holy Spirit, but I went down a rabbit hole thereafter and years later after researching, writing, and completing a Masters in Orthodox Theology with a Youth Ministry Emphasis – Bridges to Orthodoxy was born. My kids and my home Church were the test subjects, but more parishes came and asked to join in on this “unusual response” as I kept tweaking and adapting.

Truth be told, my group of contributors and I cannot help ourselves as we keep adapting the materials every year – reading more books, listening to podcasts, asking more clergy for input.

At this point, though, I do feel confident that we created a valuable tool for Orthodox churches – particularly for the Middle School and High School age demographic where very little resources otherwise exist.

I understand the hesitation – for parishes to make the leap towards this unusual response and try something a bit out of the ordinary. As such, through prayer, I decided to change things up a bit this school year to increase access to all churches and homeschoolers and create tiered pricing options hopefully allowing any sized parish (or household) with any budget access to the materials.

Medium-to-Large Churches

The materials right now, are priced for medium-to-large Orthodox churches. There are discounts available if your parish purchases a membership pack rather than individual units at a time. Keep in mind, once you purchase a unit, we will always automatically send you any updates we make in future years to the identical unit. You never have to “re-purchase” a unit in future years. In other words, we have 4 years of unique content, and you are only purchasing these 4 years once. If you purchase a year all at once, then you do so at a discount.

Small Churches

Are you a small or “start-up” parish? We understand that your budget is different than established or larger parishes. No need to even ask us for a discount or scholarship! Feel free to shop as usual. At check-out, simply enter the *Discount Code “Small Church” (on the Discount Code line) and 25% will automatically be subtracted.

*The code will not work for items already discounted (such as the membership packs)

If you feel you need a bigger discount, we do have a scholarship form you can fill out HERE. Let us know your budget concerns and we can try and work with you.

If you are a homeschooler, please fill out our scholarship form HERE with your name and email address. Please write “homeschooler” in the message box and we will be glad to add you to our homeschooler customer list and grant you access to our homeschooler **rates (75% less than church rates).
